  • Welcome Tent: Register when you arrive or if you’ve pre-registered check in and get your complimentary raffle ticket.
  • Create with Us! Main Art Tent: Block printing and LEGO printmaking, spray painting, DIY buttons, Playscape with Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, and more!
  • Music with DJs Mary Mack and Sister Sludge.
  • Bites and Brews Tent: LemonTree Coffee, Vecenie Distributing Co., pierogies made by Rankin Junior Tamburitzans, fresh popcorn, Abeille Voyante Tea Co., and Sprezzatura.

Church Sanctuary

  • Talk to Vanka experts about the Murals and conservation.
  • Enjoy listening to a vintage record collection of Croatian folk music with Jennifer Baron.
  • Grab a mini zine scavenger hunt to explore.

Plan your Visit

We’re perched high on the hill above Millvale, but reaching the Block Party will be easy! Take the shuttle provided by ABC Transit, which will make stops around the immediate neighborhood of Millvale during the event.

Get on the shuttle between 12:00 – 4:00pm at:

  • Corner of E. Ohio and Maryland Ave.
  • Sprinklefitters parking lot on Goodwin Ave — free parking!
  • Corner of Grant Ave and Sheridan St.
  • At St. Nicholas Church

If you need to park closer, we are saving the parking lot across the street from the church for those with accessibility needs. Please register to request a spot.

Accessibility

We are saving accessible parking right across from the church in the lot on Maryland Ave. You can reserve your spot when you register for the Block Party. Additional parking for all guests available in the Sprinklerfitters parking lot on Goodwin Ave.

All areas of the event are accessible, except that there are 7 steps to get to the church basement. If you have any questions or need an accommodation, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach us at: info@vankamurals.org or 412.408.3180.

Bike Parking

Riding your bike to the Block Party? We’ll have a space reserved for you next to the registration table—just be sure to bring your own lock.

Millvale is served by a bike trail along the Millvale Riverfront Trail from Downtown. In addition, there are bike lanes connecting the 40th Street Bridge to Maryland Avenue. The nearest POGOH bikeshare station is located across the 40th Street Bridge at Butler Street and 42nd Street in Lawrenceville.
