MURALS FROM THE PAST WITH INSPIRATION FOR THE FUTURE

The Vanka Murals provide an immersive and unique context for learning about the intersection of history, art, and social justice, as well as the story of Pittsburgh and its place in history. We use the themes of love, social justice, empathy, and community in a range of ways that you and your students can engage with Vanka’s murals – onsite at St. Nicholas, in your classroom, or online.
